Abstract submission

  • All abstracts received by the indicated deadline will be evaluated by a scientific committee.
  • The submitting author will receive a confirmation of acceptance or a notice of rejection by email by the end of April 2022.
  • If your abstract is accepted, you must register for the conference. You should only submit an abstract if you intend to attend the conference.
  • The organizers reserve the right to remove from publication any abstract whose author does not register within two weeks of receipt of the acceptance letter.
  • The submitting author will attend the conference for a minimum fee of 35 Eu.

Abstract submissions guidelines

  • A research abstract or a case study can be submitted.
  • Language: all abstracts should be written in English.
  • Authors: names, titles, institutional affiliations, cities, countries, and email addresses of all contributing authors should be provided. 
  • Abstract title: the title should be as short as possible, summarize the abstract and contain the major key words. Please do not use any abbreviations or type a full stop (.) at the end of the title.
  • Abstract text: The abstract should not exceed 2000 characters, including spaces and punctuation. Title, authors and reference list is not included in character count. Abbreviations can be used, but the name should be spelled in full when first mentioned.
  • The research abstract must be structured in the following five specified subtitles: introduction, aim, methods, results, conclusions and reference list. 
  • The case report should include: a brief clinical history (with relevant positive and negative features in both history and clinical examination), misleading elements and helpful details (history, examination, investigations), differential and actual diagnosis, the educational and/or clinical relevance of the case(s).
  • ePosters: abstracts will be displayed as ePosters during the conference in the ePoster area. If your abstract is accepted you will be asked to prepare a single Microsoft PowerPoint slide. 
  • Abstract book: accepted abstracts will be published in the Abstract book after the conference.
